Co-Chairs

Hello TMU! We are Hamza and Maryam, both dedicated engineering students, and we are honored to serve as the two chairs for MEC 2024. As we work towards organizing the 18th annual Metropolitan Engineering competition, our committee is wholly committed to creating an environment where students can not only apply their skills but also build valuable connections with potential employers. Our ultimate goal of this competition is to facilitate an enriching experience where participants can compete at the highest level and earn the chance to represent our institution at OEC. With 9 unique competitions, there is always something that captivates the interest of all participants.

This year's competition is entirely in-person setting, and are in the works of putting together two jam-packed days filled with competitions, judging, a career fair, and an awards ceremony. The Chairs aspire to see this ignition at the rewarding event that is Metropolitan Engineering Competition 2024.
